This is a multiple plate of fossil shrimp, species Carpopenaeus callirostris, is from the famous fossil beds near Hjoula, Lebanon. These fossil deposits were first mentioned by the Greek historian Herodotus. He said there were "fish in the stones". The shrimp on this plate have been restored.
