Individual pinnules are typically elongate-ovate to lanceolate, with a softly tapered tip and a broad attachment to the rachis. The venation is the most diagnostic feature: a strong, central midvein runs the length of each pinnule, from which numerous fine lateral veins emerge at a sharp angle before gently curving toward the margin. These lateral veins are closely spaced and give the fossil its characteristic “feathered” texture.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"In Stone Fossils","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49140518650078,"sku":"ILFRN4","price":35.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0466\/5117\/9163\/files\/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_84de7f26-7e2e-4a5d-bc01-d5d71c1776d4.jpg?v=1792712105","url":"https:\/\/instonefossils.com\/products\/fossil-fern-laveineopteris-rarinervis-illinois-1","provider":"In Stone Fossils ","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
