Ruby Kyanite, also referred to as Ruby in Kyanite, is the combination of the beautiful blues of Kyanite and the red to purple colors of Ruby.  Ruby is a variety of the mineral Corundum, a crystalline form of aluminum oxide.  Kyanite is a blue aluminosilicate mineral, typically found in aluminum rich metamorphic or sedimentary rocks.  Kyanite gets its name from the color cyan.  Together Ruby and Kyanite create an intriguing pair.
