Polychrome Jasper | Madagascar

Polychrome Jasper, also known as Desert Jasper, is a variety of Jasper recently discovered only in Madagascar on the Northern Coast. In 2008 while exploring for more deposits of the highly desired Ocean Jasper, the first deposit of Polychrome was found by accident. Since then, two additional deposits have been found throughout the island. This type of jasper is typically multicolored, with pastel hues of tans, purples and pinks.
