Undescribed Paddlefish (sp.?)
This Paddlefish is truly a remarkable specimen as it closely resembles the recently extinct (due to overfishing) Chinese paddlefish (Psephurus gladius) which fed on small fish and crustaceans, unlike the American paddlefish of today that are filter feeders.
This Paddlefish specimen was found within the sandwich layers of the Green River Formation, In Stone Fossils Private Quarry. Due to the scientific nature and preservation necessity of this specimen, it has been inlayed into a more robust matrix from the sandwich layers.

**Due to the size of this specimen, it will be shipped in an internationally compliant wooden crate. The plate itself is backed with 3/4" plywood for durability and easy wall hanging, a french cleat hanging system is included as well.
